I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

Found it.

Screen Recording

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

It doesn't work. You can add it but Teams just ignores the setting.

Under Security and Privacy in System Preferences. Click on Accessibility and add Teams in, it should work.

    Hi

I found an interesting workaround -

If my teams is windowed then I always get the following

"We need permission to share your screen Go to Security & Privacy"

But in full screen mode, it appears to work.

same session - just go to full screen and it works, go back to windowed mode and it stops working...

Mine is the exact opposite; with full screen it doesn't work but with out it works!! This is FUBAR!

    Mac Catalina - 10.15.2

Teams Version 1.2.00.34155. It was last updated on 12/17/19.

Also found that sometime if other apps are open it doesn't work for me if Brackets is open it won't share also.

Ha! thanks for this. I have a meeting every night, and sometimes flip between computers. One of those computers is a Mac. I am having the same issue as everyone else. I seen your post, but I'm in the opposite direction. If I am in full screen it does not work, but if I go windowed it works. Strange how these things happen.
