MacOS Catalina and Teams Screen Sharing

I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

    I tried to go through the responses to this main issue, but could not find something that works..

    I am still having this issue.

    Have Catalina OS 10.15.2

    Teams: 1.2.00.34155  (last updated on 1/17/20).

    Issue:  When I try to click on Share in teams during a live meeting; it shows the message "We need permission.... Screen recording", even though Microsoft Teams is included (enabled) in the Security & Privacy window.  I am able to dismiss and select one of the powerpoint files to share and it works 

    Problem is it does not anything other than Powerpoint ppts in the SHARE window. How do we get DESKTOP to be shown.  

    Any help is appreciated.. thanks

    A mi me funcionó así:

    1. Desactivando 'Grabación de Pantalla' para Microsoft Teams en  'Preferencias del Sistema' -> Seguridad  & Privacidad'
    2. Reiniciando la MAC
    3. Re activando 'Grabación de Pantalla' para Microsoft Teams en  'Preferencias del Sistema' -> Seguridad  & Privacidad'

    Por supuesto no es la mejor manera, pero a lo menos puedo seguir haciendo mis presentaciones a los clientes.

    I have Catalina as well and this WAS working yesterday. This morning, Teams was updated to 1.2.00.28258 and now I can no longer share my screen. It could also be related to the MacOS update that happened yesterday. The preference box is checked in the panel; I have checked and un-checked it, rebooted, etc. and still Teams is sure that it does not have permissions to share.

    I have the same issue.  I found that a workaround is to not have Team app window maximized.   I'm hoping for a full fix but the workaround seems to work for me.
