MacOS Catalina and Teams Screen Sharing

I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

    I found a work around

    I am running macOS Catalina 10.15.3 and Microsoft Teams Version 1.3.00.362. 

    Running in Full Screen Mode or windowed mode does not change the issue.

    What worked was the following:

    1. Untick Microsoft Team in Security&Privacy / Screen Recording
    2. Quit Microsoft Team and restarting
    3. Enable Microsoft Team in Security&Privacy / Screen Recording

    4) Quit Microsoft Team and restarting

    Now it works (for the moment).

    However, after a while, the Screen Sharing does not work again. But following the steps above I could make it work once again.

    Keep getting asked to set permissions for Teams screen sharing but it's already set.

    But it's already configured.

    Hi Betty,

    since the latest MacOS update yesterday I'm not able to share my screen anymore. Teams asks me to set the appropriate setting in the preferences panel, but it is already set. Even re-granting the permission does not help. Since I often have to share my screen with my colleagues in my daily work, I would be available for advice.

    I have had the exact same problems (MacOS version 10.15.3 and Teams version 1.2.00.34155), by coincident I found that this bug for me only appear when I have Teams in fullscreen mode, see attached screen shots.

    Yup.  Having the exact same problem.  I see that this problem have been going since October 2019.  So WHEN will a proper fix be provided please ?
