I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

Found it.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

I'm having the same issue and the TO DO work around also works for me. Please make all the efforts to fix this on your next update release.

I can temporarily fix the problem by closing Microsoft ToDo app.  If the app is closed, screen sharing works.  If the app is open it stops working.  I can replicate this many times.

Worked for me as well.  Thanks for the work-a-round.  Hope the fix this in the next release though.

    I have the same issue.

It sometimes works but not always.

I even completely uninstalled Teams, cleaned the ~/Library and reinstalled.   This did not help.  Screen sharing is critical for my daily workflow, so much so I went back to using WebEx (which is worse than teams but at least works for screen share.
