I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.
When will this be fixed? It's super bad. I randomly can't share screen since this Mac Update. I have not been able to identify when it works or not. The setting looks ok in system settings but still screen sharing in Teams tells me I need to update the setting to be able to screen share.
I need screen sharing on a daily basis and now it has not worked consistently for over a month! Do we need to switch back to the horrible Skype for Busniess, buy Slack or what is the solution?
Sadly - the solution is Zoom. We have had to switch due to this cock-up. Strictly speaking MS should be offering credits on our O365 subscription as Teams is now not fit for purpose. But we all know how that will go....

Same for me. Sometime it works and sometimes not. Haven't found out the root cause and the reason for this behaviour. Hopefully Microsoft fixes this issue fast.
I did try the uninstall and re-installation yesterday and it worked for a couple test meetings. This morning again the same issue of not being able to share due to the permissions.
Computer was not restarted in between, teams remained open, no additional applications were launched. This bug is completely erratic.
