MacOS Catalina and Teams Screen Sharing

I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

    Thanks Chris - I followed your steps but I am still getting the same message about permissions and privacy to share the screen. I can go to Browse and find whatever it is I want to share but that isn't right either - I have used Mac's for years and for Teams over the last 8 months and it has been ok but with the new Macbook Pro isn't working. Teams doesn't show up in the listed Apps that I need to provide permission to. I have turned everything on and off etc but still nothing. Any other suggestions anyone?

    Switching to dev preview mode as suggested above did not work for us, however we found a workaround that worked for one of our users:

    leave the security and permissions window open and then try and share the screen again

    I ran into the same issue. I enabled the developer preview in Teams, and that finally got it to work for me:

    Click on your Profile Picture => About => Developer preview

    It will restart Teams and ask you to sign-in again. When I tried presenting again, this time I could enable ScreenRecording.

    Hi,

    I found on my side that the problem come only when I'm in Full Screen Mode.

    When Full Screen mode I have the message for Security & Privacy Settings and also I can only share PowerPoint.

    If I exit the Full Screen Mode the screen sharing works perfectly I can share monitor 1 and all other Windows and no message for Security & Privacy Settings.

    Temas version is : 1.3.00.24758 

    MacOS Version is : Catalina 10.15.6
