Volume too loud in Teams IOS when using AirPods Pro even when set to minimum volume

Hi all,

Anyone can propose a fix to a loo loud volume in Teams even when volume is set to minimum?

I’m using AirPods Pro to join Teams’ calls through my iphone and/or ipad. The volume is set to absolutely minimum possible and it’s still a too loud to the point of causing pain if connected for a prolongued time.

It seems to be a Teams’ behaviour as the airpods function well in other apps in the same devices, enabling me to further reduce the volume. For context, the 50% volume of other apps sound like the bare minimum volume of Teams..

    Please Richsb, the issue is not about using AirPods with a computer.

    The issue is with iOS Teams application on iPhone only.

    The volume setting will not go down during a Teams call no matter what the user does. The Teams app or something is pushing the volume back without any option to use comfortable volume.

    It might also be a case where Teams is using some special sound device settings that will not allow lowering the volume.

    Jesus, you need to chill out. Look at the image I have posted with a big red arrow pointing to where you control the volume to your AirPods.

    I hope this helps and you can now calm down a bit. Have a nice weekend.

    NO! You didn't read the actual posted issue!

    This original issue is for TEAMS iOS!!! NOT WINDOWS! We know there's poor control for Windows as well - there are 1,000 other posted questions with this solution given; even a few improvement requests - but I do wish the replies would focus on the use of Teams iOS!

    The youtube post is a fix for an issue on WINDOWS that is not even relevant to this original issue - iOS.

    Does ANYONE know how to fix issue with Teams iOS as ORIGINALLY ASKED????

    Works perfectly! Just change the mic to the default device (i.e computer), then make sure the headphone is set to stereo. Easy 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    Hi Melissa, ive also noticed another fault with the airpod pros on Teams. They last for hours on my iphone but only for an hour on Teams. I think Microsoft need to fix this sharpish. If you’re teaching you could try using them with your iphone and having it on a tripod? My wife is a teacher and does the same through teams. If you are presenting, you can still present through your surface and talk through your phone. Bit of a pain in the ****, but its a decent workaround.
