Hi,

2 errors that appear to be related to a new team/channel being created.

When creating a new team, we can no longer get the email address nor change the picture. 

No issues with previously created teams/channels. 

Confirmed: 

  • Waited for 3 days
  • Error occurs on App and Web versions
  • App is on latest version
  • Error occurs on both Windows and Mac

    Issue continues, with all users, all the time, with ANY new Team/Channel that is created. 

    Hoping to resolve before we get pushed over to Quip. I prefer using Teams.

    Please don't make me use Salesforce!

    Just to add as a reminder, any Team/Channel created prior does NOT have this issue.

    Confirming all symptoms referenced by others.  Teams/Channels created in the past all work wrt the email address, but Teams/Channels created recently are broken.  Not sure WHEN things stopped working, but something has definitely changed.  Need some focus on this, as I have automation tied to this functionality!

    I had the same problem but i found out that by changing the teams Privacy settings from Public to Private solved it. I do not know if it will solve the problem for You but it is might worth a try.

    All of my teams are Private.  Just to test, I tried switching one to public and back to private but it made no difference.  No teams created after some date allow me to obtain an email address for any channel or update the team photo.
