Accessing Teams App

Hi,

I can access Teams via a web browser but I am having problems access Teams via the app.

When I start Teams app I get the small box with the Teams icon and it says "Loading Mircosoft Teams..." the three dots look as if something is loading however it doesn't progress from this screen.

Does anyone have any ideas why I can access via the browser but not the app? I have tried to reinstall the app, but that didn't help.

    You don't need to add the account yet, at the moment you can use a web browser (Chrome or edge) to access https://teams.microsoft.com/

    I suspect you have entered the wrong pasword. Just make sure you use a simple password.

    I did have a very simple password.

    When I sign in I'm asked for Email address, phone number or Skype. I'm entering "TestUser" is that what you want me to do? (It's not an email/phone number or Skype).

    No need to enter a password. Once you have successfully created a new Windows account then please press Windows key + L to switch to another Windows account.

    Once you arrived at the Windows login screen then select the newly created Windows account.
