Accessing Teams App

No joy I'm afraid Regie, I tried all three in the link.

Now it appears I can't access my own org.

From some searching I've done I was checking the "licenses and apps" within the Microsoft 365 Admin center. I only have one license, I don't have a license that references Teams. The license is "Rights Management Adhoc" - not sure if that helps.

Is there a way to see which org's I should be able to access?

can we redo the process

first, can we clear again Teams cache, kindly make sure that Teams is totally not running, then follow these steps,

1. Quit Microsoft Teams. Right-click the icon and select Quit.
2. Cut and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams into File Explorer.
3. Delete the contents of the entire folder.
4. Restart Microsoft Teams.

What I have done is:

1. I have quit Teams - checked in 'Task Manager' no Teams App running and no obvious background process running.
2. Gone to directory
3. deleted entire content
4. Restarted Teams - got "Welcome to Teams". There are two org's (one is mine, and one I am a guest) selected my org, and clicked continue. Screen changes to "we're switching you to your other account. I'll just take a moment..." - back to "Welcome to Teams - You don't have access to the XXX org in Teams. Select another org, or contact your admin for more details."

Repeated step 1-3.

• Gone to download link (as per your reference)
• Selected "Download Teams for work on your desktop"
• Opened the file Teams_windows_x64.exe
• Teams automatically started "Welcome to Teams!" You don't have access to XXX org in Teams. Select another org, or contact your admin for more details. There are two org's (one is mine, and one I am a guest) selected my org, and clicked continue. Screen changes to "we're switching you to your other account. I'll just take a moment..." - back to "Welcome to Teams - You don't have access to the XXX org in Teams. Select another org, or contact your admin for more details."

During the process I did see the below. To my knowledge I only have one account/email - could it be caused by something within my Mircosoft account and not my local config/set-up?

This is indeed the current known issue with the MS Team I suspect it's probably due to the increasing demand for MS Team service during the pandemic. In this case, users have 2 following options to go about this issue. I'm sure Microsoft has been aware of this issue.

Solution 1: Run the MS Team app in compatibility mode:

• Right-click the MS Team icon on the taskbar then select quit.
• Then right-click the MS Team icon on the desktop > select properties > Under the compatibility tab, check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" option then select Windows 8 from the dropdown list (see screenshot below)

Solution 2: Access via MS Team online instead

• Please go to your computer then open your chrome or edge browser as the only recommended browsers to access MS Teams online.
• Please go to MS Teams online https://teams.microsoft.com
• Then try to log in.

Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately both of your suggestions didn't work for me.

However I did try option 2 "InPrivate" and I can access my Teams. If I use Teams online not "InPrivate" I get the message saying I don't have access to the XXX org in Teams. Select another org, or contact your admin for more details.

I also deleted all the cache (the content of %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams).

Does that info help at all?
