Bluetooth Headset not working with teams.

I have a pair of Bluetooth Skullcandy Hesh 3 Headphones, and they have 2 connections with my laptop.

1)Hesh 3 Stereo

2)Hesh 3 Hands-Free AG Audio

When I use Hands free AG Audio, there is some static disturbance. When watching videos, stereo option gives great sound quality but for some reason it doesn't give any sound during a meeting in teams. In device settings during a meeting, once I choose Hesh 3 Stereo, the voice just stops.

I was very pleased to find that others were having the same problem as I was and hoped I would find the answer here, but I tried all the above - all to no avail! Fuming at Microsoft, I had another look around various settings … and then realised … my Bluetooth headphones were not switched on! :)

Same issue with a Bluetooth headset on Ubuntu. Works fine in all other apps, but not in Teams. Other USB headset even fails in Teams when the Bluetooth headset is connected. Have to restart Teams to reable even the USB headset

    Hello,

    This worked for me !

had the same issue, I tried all the possible methods but did not work. When I changed my WiFi settings to 2.4 Ghz frequency from 5 Ghz frequency it got sorted.

Good to hear that fix is working. I am going to test it asap.

I bought a brand new Sony Bluetooth headset it works fine with Zoom, Google Meet even Skype (lol)... when I use it with Teams conferences it works for about 15/30 minutes and then... silence!

People on the other side can hear you but you can't hear them. If I turn the headset on/off it works again for another 15/30 minutes. Very annoying! I even went to the shop complaining about it and got a new pair of headsets in replacement, but it does the same. Meaning, this is not a Headset problem but Teams software.

Microsoft Teams is quite recent, so I think they should provide an update to fix this issue.
