Bluetooth Headset not working with teams.

I have a pair of Bluetooth Skullcandy Hesh 3 Headphones, and they have 2 connections with my laptop.

1)Hesh 3 Stereo

2)Hesh 3 Hands-Free AG Audio

When I use Hands free AG Audio, there is some static disturbance. When watching videos, stereo option gives great sound quality but for some reason it doesn't give any sound during a meeting in teams. In device settings during a meeting, once I choose Hesh 3 Stereo, the voice just stops.

I had the same problem with Sony WF500 earbuds until just a few days ago. On October 27, 2022 I did a Windows Update (Windows 10), and it downloaded a new Bluetooth driver. Since then, it's been working.

For me the settings.json is overwritten every time Teams is started so manipulating its contents seems to be pointless.

Same issue here. It appears that Teams stores the file contents somewhere locally or in the cloud. Every time your restart Teams, the contents are updated so any changes you make to settings.json while Teams is not running are lost.

Thank you! This did it for me, combined with ensuring none of the other fixes listed were in place. I.e. I had to make sure LE Bluetooth Enumerator was enabled.

I then disabled telephony, unpaired and re-paired the headset. Teams now uses the correct audio channel for my headset to be able to listen to system sounds (mostly spotify...) and the call at the same time.

Oddly, I cannot re-enable Handsfree telephony:

    Windows 10, using M&D MW65
