Bluetooth Headset not working with teams.

I have a pair of Bluetooth Skullcandy Hesh 3 Headphones, and they have 2 connections with my laptop.

1)Hesh 3 Stereo

2)Hesh 3 Hands-Free AG Audio

When I use Hands free AG Audio, there is some static disturbance. When watching videos, stereo option gives great sound quality but for some reason it doesn't give any sound during a meeting in teams. In device settings during a meeting, once I choose Hesh 3 Stereo, the voice just stops.

    Hi,

    i am using WF-XB700 (Sony) for my teams call,

    when i use the option

    Speaker

    Headset (WF-XB700 Hands-free AG Audio) (Bluetooth)

    Microphone

    Headset (WF-XB700 Hands-free AG Audio)

    i am only to hear in 1 speaker (left side during the conference calls )

    any reason why ?

    Headphones(WF-XB700 Stereo) (Bluetooth) - does not work.

    Can somebody help ? its quite irritating to listen in 1 ear and reply to prospective clients.

    Regards,

    Tejas Candade

    This worked for me...

    1. Unpair headset
    2. Right-click start menu and open Device Manager
    3. Expand Bluetooth
    4. Right-click Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator and disable. It will give you a warning about devices not working. Unless you have devices that require Bluetooth low energy, it will be okay. Leave the other one (without LE) enabled.
    5. Pair your headset
    6. Enjoy

    Thank you so much! This worked like a charm! I hope this helps others with the same issue.

    This is the best solution out there! Solved issue with Edifier X3 BT Headphones!

    That is such interesting thing that after 2 years after publication of this workaround - we still should search for it and use it.

    Thanks it helped me with Huawei Freebuds Pro 2.

    Double strange is that headphones do not work only with Teams without this workaround, but they worked with Skype correct.

    Agree with you, but also, it means Microsoft doesn't give a damn about users; otherwise, Teams should be already fixed by now and ready to work with all these Bluetooth devices

    I've found out a combination of measures which works in my case (on WIN 11):

    1. I had to unmark the "Handsfree Telephony" service in the device properties.
      • go to Devices and Printers;
      • right click over your bluetooth headset;
      • go to the headset Properties -> Services;
      • unmark (unchoose) the "Handsfree Telephony" and Apply changes.

    1. Sometimes or each time I join Teams meating (!) I have to change the Spatial sound Type. Just change the selection from Off to Windows Sonic for Headphones or vise versa (!) I don't have any explanation for that, although it works for me. The another interesting thing is, that after I do that change in Spatial sound Type first time and headset works in the particular Teams meating, I am able to switch between those both Types (Off or Windows Sonic.......) without any impact on headset work - "It is as it is" :)
