Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls
This worked for me...
- Unpair headset
- Right-click start menu and open Device Manager
- Expand Bluetooth
- Right-click Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator and disable. It will give you a warning about devices not working. Unless you have devices that require Bluetooth low energy, it will be okay. Leave the other one (without LE) enabled.
- Pair your headset
- Enjoy
This absolutely worked for me.
Up until mid call today, I have been using a Sony WH-CH700N wireless NC headset with no problems for over a year on Teams, Webex, Zoom with my Win10 Toshiba Satellite. We primarily use Teams and during a call today, I received a recurring pop-up saying my speakers were no longer working which would resolve itself in about 5 seconds on its own but forcing my headset to disconnect and reconnect to BT. During a later call, I received a pop-up saying my microphone was no longer working. I unpaired and repaired the headset but Teams would only recognize the speakers - not the microphone. This did not resolve itself and I followed the procedure above. Headset now works as it did before.
I should add that when re-pairing, this is the first time I have ever seen two device to pair - WH-CH700N and then an LE-WH-CH700N. Always only ever saw the non-LE version.
