Bluetooth Headset not working with teams.

I have a pair of Bluetooth Skullcandy Hesh 3 Headphones, and they have 2 connections with my laptop.

1)Hesh 3 Stereo

2)Hesh 3 Hands-Free AG Audio

When I use Hands free AG Audio, there is some static disturbance. When watching videos, stereo option gives great sound quality but for some reason it doesn't give any sound during a meeting in teams. In device settings during a meeting, once I choose Hesh 3 Stereo, the voice just stops.

Hi, Wondering if you can help. I've tried the above and I can get the headphones working via the web application but not the app. Any ideas why?

    Thanks

    Sarah

    1. In a Teams Call, go to Device Settings.
    2. As the Speaker, select the Stereo Option. (of your headphones)
    3. As the mic, choose anything EXCEPT the headset microphone.

Basically, this works for almost everyone. The thing about Bluetooth headphones is that if you want to use its microphone, you have to sacrifice on the audio quality (Hands-Free Audio) but if you don't want to use the mic, you can have high quality audio (Stereo).

If you're planning on never using the Headset Microphone, you can disable it from the sound settings.

Sadly all of these suggestions are just workarounds where you HAVE to sacrifice either your audio quality or switch to different mic.

What we need is to Teams developers fix this nonsense.

Exactly! This is a software issue from Teams. So, they should fix it asap!
