Bluetooth Headset not working with teams.

I have a pair of Bluetooth Skullcandy Hesh 3 Headphones, and they have 2 connections with my laptop.

1)Hesh 3 Stereo

2)Hesh 3 Hands-Free AG Audio

When I use Hands free AG Audio, there is some static disturbance. When watching videos, stereo option gives great sound quality but for some reason it doesn't give any sound during a meeting in teams. In device settings during a meeting, once I choose Hesh 3 Stereo, the voice just stops.

    a similar problem with Sennhieser Momentum 3 wireless earbuds - the solution for me on a Sony Xperia1iii phone is to edit the bluetooth settings and turn off "HD Audio:Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio" and disconnect and reconnect to the earbuds.

    Not good but it's a workaround...

    Who is at fault here? Sennhieser, Sony or Microsoft? who knows.... I do know they will all blame each other :-(

    I've found out a combination of measures which works in my case (on WIN 11):

    1. I had to unmark the "Handsfree Telephony" service in the device properties.
      • go to Devices and Printers;
      • right click over your bluetooth headset;
      • go to the headset Properties -> Services;
      • unmark (unchoose) the "Handsfree Telephony" and Apply changes.

    1. Sometimes or each time I join Teams meating (!) I have to change the Spatial sound Type. Just change the selection from Off to Windows Sonic for Headphones or vise versa (!) I don't have any explanation for that, although it works for me. The another interesting thing is, that after I do that change in Spatial sound Type first time and headset works in the particular Teams meating, I am able to switch between those both Types (Off or Windows Sonic.......) without any impact on headset work - "It is as it is" :)

    Agree with you, but also, it means Microsoft doesn't give a damn about users; otherwise, Teams should be already fixed by now and ready to work with all these Bluetooth devices

    That is such interesting thing that after 2 years after publication of this workaround - we still should search for it and use it.

    Thanks it helped me with Huawei Freebuds Pro 2.

    Double strange is that headphones do not work only with Teams without this workaround, but they worked with Skype correct.
