Bluetooth Headset not working with teams.

I have a pair of Bluetooth Skullcandy Hesh 3 Headphones, and they have 2 connections with my laptop.

1)Hesh 3 Stereo

2)Hesh 3 Hands-Free AG Audio

When I use Hands free AG Audio, there is some static disturbance. When watching videos, stereo option gives great sound quality but for some reason it doesn't give any sound during a meeting in teams. In device settings during a meeting, once I choose Hesh 3 Stereo, the voice just stops.

Would these instructions be different when running Windows 11? Also, headphones in question are Bose NC 700 HP.

This worked for me as well. Anker PowerConf bluetooth device, unclicked the HandsFree Telephony box. I also have the Bluetooth LE enumerator device disabled, but that change did not fix it.

    Windows 11

    Teams Version 1.6.00.6754

    Anker PowerConf

I have been searching for a solution to this for months, as it was intermittent for me. It has been working all morning now.

This works, but then I cannot use the bluetooth headset's microphone, only the audio. Which isn't so bad in my case as I talk very little & prefer the chatbox in MS Teams, but leaving this comment as a warning here in case someone is unable to use their microphone as well. I'm currently on windows 10, headset is a JBL TUNE 510BT. This issue also happens on my windows 11 laptop. Seems more like a windows bug than MS teams per se.

Seems this issue doesn't bother me anymore (at least for the moment).

Running on Teams version 1.5.00.33362 (64-bit) and Windows version 10.0.19044 Build 19044 with KB5021233 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/december-13-2022-kb5021233-os-builds-19042-2364-19043-2364-19044-2364-and-19045-2364-44e774aa-60c4-4e38-b7e7-c886d210db3b

This solution works but microsoft shoud fix this in Teams app (or Windows), because now I can't fast switch from Bluetooth headphones + external microphone to hands free Bluetooth headphones + handsfree Bluetooth headphone's microphone.

Also I think it's not Teams bug because when telephony is turned ON and input/output defaults are set to Bluetooth Headphones Stereo/ External Mix then in "Sound manager" (old Windows classic sound manager) when you switch to input devices tab sound dissapears. When you switch back to output tab sound appears.
