Can't see myself on the viewfinder during the call

I came to this site because I was having the same problem.  I had the self-view when we first started using Teams, but it disappeared.  I played around with all of my settings, but nothing worked.  I finally got it back by turning on a background.  When I turned the background off, it was still there.   YAY.   If that doesn't work, you might try Ctrl Shift O (which is the command to turn your camera on and off).  Clicking the camera icon on and off didn't work for me, but the keyboard command might.

This is one of the main reasons I prefer Zoom over Teams-being able to see myself while seeing others at the same time.  I hope you can address this in a future update.  Thank you.

Has there been a solution to this issue posted? I had to log off and on again because Teams didn´t show my profile picture. But now the viewfinder is gone. I was in a meeting just before doing this and could view myself in the bottom right corner, now I´m in another meeting and it´s gone.

I used to have this functionality during group calls (not presenting). The functionality disappeared and I am no longer able to see myself. It is awkward as I receive no communication about it and my colleagues do not have this problem they are able to see themselves during our calls. I have no issue with Teams Web app only with the desktop Teams.

It is then incorrect to state the functionality does not exist.

Has any solution or explanation been provided to enable the view ?

Hi! In Microsoft Teams during the video calls I can't see myself in the viewfinder. Everyone else can see me in the chat but I don't have the little mini video of myself in the corner. Anyone know how to turn it on?

It is helpful to see what I look like on the screen to others. I was using my iphone as a camera and was unknowingly broadcasting with my head cut off --- Teams software folks - think "Monitor" for users - this is notable deficiency IMO. Thanks for considering ! Matthew
