Can't see myself on the viewfinder during the call

Hi! In Microsoft Teams during the video calls I can't see myself in the viewfinder. Everyone else can see me in the chat but I don't have the little mini video of myself in the corner. Anyone know how to turn it on?

    I came to this site because I was having the same problem.  I had the self-view when we first started using Teams, but it disappeared.  I played around with all of my settings, but nothing worked.  I finally got it back by turning on a background.  When I turned the background off, it was still there.   YAY.   If that doesn't work, you might try Ctrl Shift O (which is the command to turn your camera on and off).  Clicking the camera icon on and off didn't work for me, but the keyboard command might.

    Hello! I had this EXACT problem. So frustrating. Ridiculous UN-help received from official microsoft channels on here too, appalling!

    Hopefully I can help. Just spoken to my tech team - reason I couldnt see myself is I was accessing my MT meeting through the BROWSER rather than the Microsoft Teams APPLICATION. So ahead of your meeting, open the MT application itself in the bottom right, find your meeting in the app calendar and open the meeting from there. Dont click on the link in your Outlook calendar which opens a tab in your web page - a MT meeting using your browser will work just fine, you just wont be able to see yourself, AND THAT'S OUR PROBLEM. Never posted on here before, but HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL!

    Hi George,

    Thank you for letting me know. I think it's a little unsettling that you are advertising that to the public as a feature in Teams when you can't actually do that.. 

    Maybe you do not have the correct information as Cecelia has pointed out that it is in fact an option. Do we need to have the most updated version of Teams installed?

    When I have a call with my team, I am able to see myself in the corner, but my boss does not have the same feature. Can you please look into this? I can provide a screenshot if needed

    Thank you for the post.

    As far we know, you cannot show yourself with the mini window and observing yourself when presenting yourselves to others. if the feature does exist before, would you like to share with us?

    If we have any misunderstanding action or misguided from your explanation, would you like to explain a little bit to us?
