Connect-MicrosoftTeams not working

Sorry for the delay reply. We escalated your case as your problem persists after a lot of troubleshooting. This is Sylvie and I am writing this thread by now. We truly appreciate all your efforts and patience during our troubleshooting process.

Currently we identified that the main problem could be related to your PS environment. For the above cmdlets provided by Rick, it was his typo, the two cmdlets should be as following:

Test-Path $profile

$host.Runspace | fl

This can help you check whether you have the correct PowerShell profile configured in your Windows PC.

Meanwhile, for the new problem you encountered, I would like to confirm the following:

1. May I know if you run this cmdlet in PowerShell ISE as administrator?
2. When does this “Connect-MicrosoftTeams” problem happen? Does it happen after upgrading windows or PowerShell?

Rick suggested creating a new Windows profile before, but we haven’t received the feedback from you. If haven’t did it before, please kindly try to do it to check the outcome.

one more issue when creating team

Thanks for your prompt update! Since the PowerShell ISE works as expected, we can confirm the issue is related to your PowerShell environment. But I want to set up an expectation that it still may need a long time to reach the endpoint of this investigation. As a temporary workaround, you can use PowerShell ISE and run the cmdlets.

For the next troubleshooting steps, please run the following commands via PowerShell ISE:

1. Check if you have custom profile. Run Test-Path $profile separately
2. Please run the following cmdlet: $host.Runspace | fl separately
