Can you mute by default whenever you enter a TEAMS meeting? I know this option is available in WebEx, but can't seem to find it in the settings in TEAMS.

Noticed a recent update----there are now more emojis?.....

Yet this very, very, very fundamental feature still sits in the backlog.

Coming up on 2.5 years since this was opened, 597 people marked as having the same question, 85 replies....I'm going to ask something basic here cause MS makes me feel like I'm losing my mind:

They are aware this request has been made correct?

I'm gonna lose it if I see more 'fluff' updates without getting this one through....

My guess is that no one from Microsoft moderates or reviews this forum. Or else wouldn't we see a product manager from Microsoft chime in at some point on this multi-year long thread?

I've decided to become more annoying and make new threads (maybe each week?) until this gets answered.
Unfortunately I've no connections to the company and don't know how else to get heard.

I think that's a safe bet. Really makes you wonder why the Microsoft Community board even exists. Certainly not to resolve any product issues.

Allllright folks---I got a ping on the newest thread and I'll keep my fingers crossed and expectations just as low that this route will actually get it seen by internal MS folks.
