Can you mute by default whenever you enter a TEAMS meeting? I know this option is available in WebEx, but can't seem to find it in the settings in TEAMS.

This thread has been open for nearly 2 years with 6 pages of responses on a single posting....and that is not including the countless people who have found this issue, read the thread, and left when they realized there was no action to take. To date there are currently 43,388 views of this single request.

While I appreciate sharing the link, I don't see how this has 1) not already been requested countless times or 2) how providing feedback in that link is going to change anything with MS response to this basic function.

This very much feels like flipping the responsibility on end users saying that it is our fault for this basic feature not being delivered because we did not give feedback in "the right way".

Well said MikeyB_2021. Amazing that MS could not see this before even the beta testing, but to continue to fail to see the issue after this long is truly frustrating. Still with industry buy in with the Microsoft 365 products, I suspect it will never be fixed.

Agreed, Microsoft already made their money and will likely continue so regardless of this issue. I'll be legit shocked if Microsoft fixes this.

Mikey, so well said, thank you.

Everyone, it would be great if we could make Mikey's answer the most upvoted post in MS history (or, anyway, really high). Please respond "Yes" to "Was this reply helpful?" and then rate it five stars.

    Well put MickyB_2021.

I've only used Teams for a short time. When I ran into this issue, I searched for answers and found this thread. I am so disappointed to find there is no solution and the issue was communicated to MS almost 2 years ago. Come on MS!
