Can you mute by default whenever you enter a TEAMS meeting? I know this option is available in WebEx, but can't seem to find it in the settings in TEAMS.

I just dropped an F bomb in a meeting I had just joined with a conference room of Healthcare Professionals because of this. Fix your product.
I just started a new job and Teams is the standard for video conferencing. I'm shocked it doesn't have this basic features that Google / Zoom both have.
I have always used mute by default, especially when Working from Home, to avoid accidentally interrupting meetings. Since using teams I've accidentally exposed my teammates to various amounts of home chaos. This is an essential feature that should be prioritized for implementation.
100% essential feature, I need to be able to default:mute when entering a meeting.
Also another clarification of the issue. This happens when it's 5 or less participants BUT one of those participants can be a single conference room filled with people. I had it happen this morning.
And thanks for adding to the feedback portal. That's probably the only way that's there is some small chance that they will finally change this.
