Can you mute by default whenever you enter a TEAMS meeting? I know this option is available in WebEx, but can't seem to find it in the settings in TEAMS.

Adding a request to add settings for default behavior. I never want to join a meeting with a live mic. Come on Microsoft, this isn't rocket science.

I can't believe this was a design feature. Team should ALWAYS default to OFF. OFF Camera, OFF microphone regardless of how many people are on a call or in a meeting. At the very least, the user should be able to set a default setting.

    Very poor design.

Yes, without a doubt there should be a default setting in teams to "Mute on entry" yes/no. This is really a basic feature. Others have commented sometimes it does mute you, sometimes it does not. This should not be up to the application, it should be a user setting. With the new world we live in and the importance of remote working, this should really be considered a high priority request.

I realize some may end up talking to themselves if they are muted, then they can select to be unmuted as the default.
