TEAMS - mute by default when entering a meeting

Can you mute by default whenever you enter a TEAMS meeting? I know this option is available in WebEx, but can't seem to find it in the settings in TEAMS.

    We are urgently waiting for a response.

    Please, this is a SIMPLE feature to add to make Teams a great app. It is just common sense.

    I really need this feature. I use Teams all day long for work. I would like to always enter a new call on mute.

    I came here because I have a user complaining of the opposite,
    "Microphone is muted by default when joining Teams meeting or Teams call. Unable to change the setting."

    Now to work out how he did it and report back haha
