Additional meeting and call-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for business
This is why Zoom is superior for meetings. It has had this VERY BASIC feature for years.

Can you mute by default whenever you enter a TEAMS meeting? I know this option is available in WebEx, but can't seem to find it in the settings in TEAMS.

Question has a reply: TEAMS - mute by default when entering a meeting
Last Day Question was : Who should mute me when I'm in a meeting ?
Hi Rabiul Islam1,
phsshp has replied to the question TEAMS - mute by default when entering a meeting that you are following in Microsoft Community.
It is amazing how inflexible and inattentive Microsoft can be. When they "simplified" Skype, removing a ton of useful features, I thought, "Oh well, they'll add them back based on user feedback." Boy was I wrong.
Is it really THAT HARD to add an option to your settings menu or simply a "make this my default" checkbox next to the existing slider on the Join page? It's quite a statement about the Tools and Architecture Microsoft used for Teams if this can't be done in half an hour.
I remember some book in the eighties that gushed about Microsoft's advanced quality control: Developers handed floppy disks through a window and another team inspected and applied the changes. GUYS! REPLACE THE WINDOW!

Hello, this seems to be a question different from the question we are discussing in this thread. I suggest you post a separate thread for it.
However, I was unable to understand what you were asking. When you post that new thread, I suggest trying to reword it so it is clearer.
