Can you mute by default whenever you enter a TEAMS meeting? I know this option is available in WebEx, but can't seem to find it in the settings in TEAMS.

I agree this functionality is very important and privacy related. Microsoft should implement this to respect people's privacy.
Has anyone spoken with someone on the Teams Product Management team about this? What did they say? I can't believe this is still unresolved after so long.
Omg, the default mute option is an absolute MUST. Microsoft, wake up!
Attending a meeting in person and wanting to join the Teams stream to see the presentations close up it is ESSENTIAL to be able to join muted, as otherwise the interference will disturb everyone. GET THAT FIXED - NOW!!!
