Teams: Starts and shows Continue button that does nothing

Hi,

I just installed the Microsoft Teams desktop app. When I start it, it says "Welcome to Teams!", offers me a pulldown choice of "Personal", and a button "Continue". Clicking Continue does nothing. What do I do to start using Teams?

To give you the background that MS Team free comes in two variants.

  1. MS, Team free personal account(accessible from mobile/web app https://teams.live.com). You don't need to sign for this as it comes with all Microsoft account

It looks like you got the MS teams personal on the Desktop app early to release on your device, but it has not yet worked completely.

I'd suggest waiting for Microsft announcement on MS Teams personal life launch that schedule to release soon this month.

    it'a crazy, such fundamental problem and there is problem at the very start. Same here, i'm also facing the same exact problem today.

    I found the sign out button on top right, click it. It will take you to the login screen with the information you used to sign in, click your username and it signed me into the desktop page.

    This worked for me!

    Its so weird that this is still a problem after such a long time. Not particularly professional what we see here at all.
