Audio output through bluetooth not working in teams app android

I  am  using Teams  app  android  to  attend  my online classes  but I am facing issues  with bluetooth speaker. I wanted  to  use  Nest  mini  for  audio  output so  I   paired  to  it through bluetooth  on  my android device and  audio  output of  all  the  apps  work  except teams. This  issue  seems  to  be  only  on  android  app  because on  the  desktop app on  windows 10 the  same  speaker  works  absolutely fine. In  the  android app  when  I  try  to  switch  the  audio  output to  bluetooth, within  a  second it  switches  back  to  device  audio. I  tried on another android device as  well  but no luck. I  am  running the  latest  teams  version  (as  no  updates  available in  Play  store). Any  help  is  welcome.

    Has anyone else tried all of these steps, only to still be without headset functionality in Teams? Any other ideas?

    I've had the same trouble since the beginning of November. All of my Bluetooth headsets work with other Android apps, but not Microsoft Teams. None of the above recommendations have made a difference for me.

    I suspect Teams app needs to be patched to account for something Google changed in the November Android update.

    Same issue - on one hand, glad to know it isn't just me. On the other, I really need this functionality to work. (Amazon Earbuds v.2 on Pixel 5)

    Same issue as well -- all Bluetooth devices (headsets, car audio) work with other applications but not with teams. When the meeting starts I can link the teams output to the Bluetooth device but after some seconds it gets switched back to device speaker and no Bluetooth device is selectable in teams anymore.

    I have the same problem. My bluetooth headset and speakers works fine on my Samsung tablet outside of teams app but when I use teams app, it doesn't work anymore. Why is it so hard for Microsoft to understand the problem we are facing and then fix it?

    Same issue here. Bose headset connected til Pixel 6. Headset works with all other apps on android phone, when connecting to a teams meeting it does not use my headset, in fact bluetooth is not even an option. Certainly a teams bug.
