Audio output through bluetooth not working in teams app android

I  am  using Teams  app  android  to  attend  my online classes  but I am facing issues  with bluetooth speaker. I wanted  to  use  Nest  mini  for  audio  output so  I   paired  to  it through bluetooth  on  my android device and  audio  output of  all  the  apps  work  except teams. This  issue  seems  to  be  only  on  android  app  because on  the  desktop app on  windows 10 the  same  speaker  works  absolutely fine. In  the  android app  when  I  try  to  switch  the  audio  output to  bluetooth, within  a  second it  switches  back  to  device  audio. I  tried on another android device as  well  but no luck. I  am  running the  latest  teams  version  (as  no  updates  available in  Play  store). Any  help  is  welcome.

It's amazing how incompetent Microsoft is about this. The only app I ever had that can't produce sound to any Bluetooth device.

I was having this issue as well.

    What worked for me:

    1. Went into the Teams App, Cleared both the cash AND storage. (just clearing the cache didn't work)
    2. Closed the Teams App, Rebooted the phone (Pixel 7)
    3. Connected my bluetooth (Pixel Buds Pro)
    4. Went into the Teams App permissions, and re-added everything: nearby devices, phone, etc.
    5. Opened the Teams App and re-signed in.
    6. Now the Bluetooth is listed as one of the devices when I join a meeting.

    Thanks Kurt, it helped.

I still think it's something Teams should address automatically.
