So recently our organization decided to use Microsoft Teams for our communication. And It is working fine on Web and iPhone But no one is able to login on Android Device. Whenever we try to login on Android Device using Team App, we get this error.

There was a problem with the network. Try signing in again

I have logged in using same credentials on iOS and Web and It worked but same credentials are not working on Android.

Please guide me, how to fix this issue as it is very urgent for us.

This is what I noticed in the logs:

X509Util: Failed to validate the certificate chain, error: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found.

We use Okta for authentication. So I sent it to our IT department.

    They replaced the certificate.

That resolved the issue. I was prompted the Okta login instead of that network login message and everything started working.

    Here's their explanation:

"The way certificate was installed it required the client to download the intermediate cert, which android has problems with sometimes. So they included it, so there is only one download for the certificate."

    Hope this helps.

    Hey !

I was also facing same issue and tried many possible solution. But finally I got a solution which worked for me.

Go to App Managment>>Teams>>Give all permissions to app.

Then try to login again. It will work.

Sadly, giving the app permissions to everything didn't solve the issue for me.
