Hello,

My in built microphone on my laptop works well with other  and is good on the voice recorder but I cannot take part in audio conversations on Teams because others in the conversation cannot hear me. I have tried settings on Teams and on my laptop control panel but haven't been able to fix the problem. Can anyone help?

Thank you in advance.

Just adding a 'me too' to this thread. Same experience as others, low microphone volume in Teams Desktop App. But Voice Recorder, Zoom, BlackBoard Collaborate through Chrome are all working fine.

As the audio works well in every other app and plays music and I can hear perfectly well when it comes to Zoom calls etc  I assume that would mean, forgive me if I am wrong and not showing my ignorance, I repeat I assume that would mean that audio drivers are installed in my laptop!

As they are and have been checked and updated and work very well as I say with every other way of hearing things through my laptop EXCEPT for MICROSOFT TEAMS!!!!

It is not an installation of Audio drivers

Hey I kind of improve it a little bit, let's see if that works for you. But I stand on my words, THIS IS A TEAMS ISSUE

That being said, I uninstalled drivers from my headphones -- I have Bluetooth -- I restarted the computer and then installed drivers. Restarted it again and then connected using my 3.5 cable. made a call and then disconnected the 3.5 and use the bluetooth.
The improvement was not that much as I wanted but it did improve...

I hope the info was helpful, me from my side I need to use Teams due my work, so is not an option...
So I tried by best. Let us know if it worked, even a little...

    Have a nice one

I have a USB microsoft webcam with microphone plugged in and unfortunately have this problem too! So I don't think its just inbuilt microphones...

Are you sure you are using the microphone built in the webcam and not the laptop built in microphone? Have you checked the audio settings of Teams or Skype app to see what microphone the app is using?
