Hello,

My in built microphone on my laptop works well with other  and is good on the voice recorder but I cannot take part in audio conversations on Teams because others in the conversation cannot hear me. I have tried settings on Teams and on my laptop control panel but haven't been able to fix the problem. Can anyone help?

Thank you in advance.

Tx Jan-Jan I was aware of this roadmap item. And I did receive an update that changed the experience by offering more options when joining a meeting. But I could not find an option to do what the roadmap item (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?rtc=2&filters=&searchterms=68694) states:

"Users will now have have control over how much noise suppression they want. The “High” setting is new and will suppress more background noise."

So either I am yet to receive another update with this fix, or I missed altogether how to access the feature announced in 68694. Or it was not implemented :(

    Hi,

Same issue for me, but was working fine with Skype.

I'm using headphones with a jack...

Still no fix for that ?

    Thanks,

I've been having this issue too. One thing that seemed to work for a while was to go to Control Panel>Sound>Recording>*Select your device>*Properties>Advancedand then uncheck "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device."

I started having the issue again and when I came back to that setting it was checked again...

Hope this helps some of you!
