Export messages from Teams Chat?

I have messages in a chat that go back months and I've tried selecting all of the messages copy/paste and it doesn't get all of the messages at one time. It only grabs a few at a time. Is there a way I can just select everything at one time to copy/paste?

1. There is no "Share to Outlook" option available. I can not say why not.
2. Copying entire conversations is difficult, as it will only allow copying roughly a page at a time. When you attempt to include more than a page, it will either drop off the first part or the second part. It is unclear what the application considers to be a "page".
3. This is a massive functional deficiency in the application which Microsoft needs to escalate getting a resolution for.
4. Take somebody off creating new cutesy plug-ins that nobody asked for. Work on providing an "Export Conversation" plug-in.

I agree to all above. This is terrible.

I am in engineering in a large global company. People start using chats more and more (as email get ignored more and more...).

Discussing engineering topics does often involve graphs, sketches, pictures, other documents. What may have started as a harmless question might quickly spiral into a major issue.

I need a way to export and store selected chat. Full chat, in readable form and with all pictures in correct order and all documents used in that chat embedded in that export.

I tried the various exports methods discussed here and non work. Neither Word, Powerpoint or Excel works. Text formatting is so bad it is hardly readable at all. Pictures gets replace by hundreds of line of random emojis,.... Opening teams in Chrome and print PDF does not work as it truncates each chat bubble to the first two line or so, so your are missing out anything more complicated then "hello". Pictures are not printed at all. Same result for MS-Edge.

Microssoft, This is good enough for teenagers to discuss where to hang out. To be forced to use this in a professional environment has me grinding my teeth. You really need to come up with an improvement.

How is it possible there's no integrated way to export chats? Even Lync/Skype had the option to do that!

Btw, there seems to be no way to select an entire conversation. When the window scrolls the selection is lost. Also, copied content does not have format. Terrible!
