Export messages from Teams Chat?

This happened with me and I am not sure why Microsoft is not paying enough attention.

As an organization, we used Lotus Notes and compared to Microsoft architecture, I like the Domino and Lotus Notes as the concepts and design were superior. However, when compared to Microsoft, their licensing was a nightmare and marketing was horrible. (compared to Microsoft.)

Continues neglect of this led the downfall of Lotus Notes.

Then, with the Windows Explorer Index issue (size not reflecting correct size in a folder) was not properly addressed for almost 2 years until 1909.

Point here is, if Microsoft don't address fundamental issues of what we, as users want, no one can stop them getting replaced by something which serves us better, irrespective of their standing/positioning today in the line.

Listen to 'What we Want' and 'FIX' the problem ASAP. Where are your analysist, experts and decision makers??????

1. There is no "Share to Outlook" option available. I can not say why not.
2. Copying entire conversations is difficult, as it will only allow copying roughly a page at a time. When you attempt to include more than a page, it will either drop off the first part or the second part. It is unclear what the application considers to be a "page".
3. This is a massive functional deficiency in the application which Microsoft needs to escalate getting a resolution for.
4. Take somebody off creating new cutesy plug-ins that nobody asked for. Work on providing an "Export Conversation" plug-in.

Ages later, this is still the most accurate message in all this thread. There are solutions for when your account is a Microsoft account and not an organization account (through this support page), but if your account belongs to "work or school", you are pretty much F...ed.

Thank you, Microsoft for making a product not future-proof (people leave organizations!) and f.. us all in the (...) . Instead of making things more complicated with shareponts, one notes, one drives, why don't you focus on fixing what is wrong with your current products and making something solid that makes all users happy? Each person on this thread has wasted hours because of this.

This is unacceptable. It is critical in business settings to be able to see and review entire conversations and copy paste does NOT work for very large conversations.

BlaneYama, I point exactly! Very frustrating. I wanted to copy the message threads to conversations to save, then delete on Teams. I thought it would be a quick way to do it, but it takes too much time and therefore, can't delete the messages yet. Also, it'd be nice to be able to select them all at one time and Delete, but the way I've seen to do it is to delete each message individually in the thread. Again, too time consuming. They have to do better.
