How do you copy Teams message without time and sender information?

I want to triple-click a message, copy it to the clipboard, then paste it in whichever application, and I don't want to see the header (time and sender information).

Yes, it is possible to carefully select parts of a message, and make sure you don't snag the beginning or end of the message so you don't "grab" the header. This is not what I'm looking for. I want a one-click-solution.

I found this post dating from 2013, about Skype/Lync. I'm looking for the same thing in Teams.

    While I can see the need to exclude the Date/Time stamp, my profession REQUIRES Date/Time Stamps on my data. Now that MS has removed this from Teams, my work has just now increased exponentially, and it has increased the workload of me and my team beyond imagination.

    If the Snippet option would allow scrolling to select a larger range of capture, that would help, but alas, that is not available.

    How difficult could it have been to make this a selectable option vs the MS 'Take It or Leave It' mandate.

    I chanced across this topic because the headers stopped showing on my copy/paste from teams. I hope this new behavior (not keeping the name/date) is a bug. I regularly need to copy chains of text from teams and keep the timestamp and username. It's possible to delete that information if you don't need it, but it would be impossibly difficult to add it when it's not there. Ideally there would be setting to change copy behavior, not removing the feature. It's definitely not a bug.

    Yes, that is one method of doing it. The goal I'm always trying to reach is a "one-click-done" solution. There are just too many steps involved to achieve the intended goal, for me personally.

    please fix this. it is not worth all the time people go and delete the header. prioritize productivity please

    Also, this is on me, but I copy pasted something from teams into a key-vault and it broke since it added the header. I didn't notice because the key-vault automatically censors the text

    Who was the big brain that thought this was a feature? It is like Microsoft has no idea how their customers actually use their product. In what situation is automatically time stamping and quoting on Microsoft teams actually useful? In the rare circumstance where we actually need the time stamp and name there is always the search feature. Meanwhile I have never had a task where I actually needed, let alone wanted the quote and timestamp 'feature'.

    almost a year has passed, no progress was made...
