How do you copy Teams message without time and sender information?

I want to triple-click a message, copy it to the clipboard, then paste it in whichever application, and I don't want to see the header (time and sender information).

Yes, it is possible to carefully select parts of a message, and make sure you don't snag the beginning or end of the message so you don't "grab" the header. This is not what I'm looking for. I want a one-click-solution.

I found this post dating from 2013, about Skype/Lync. I'm looking for the same thing in Teams.

    ... and Microsoft believes that this is "better" and "easier" than just take that dam **** header out of the text by default. OMG! If people want to header, let people copy the header all together! Don't IMPOSE it like there is no other option! Is it that hard to understand? At maximum create a checkbox in Options that allow users to chose if they want or not the header to come together.

    PReinie01, for keyboard lovers, your solution will be great! Yet, the triple click would always be the best user experience and MS just messed it up.

    I found that if you double-click the first word of the paragraph, then hold down Shift and use "End" key (hopefully you have one instead of Fn+End), then down until you get to the last word, then arrow back (left) one character, release shift key, then copy, it doesn't copy the time-stamp.

    Too bad you still have to repeat that for every paragraph.

    It is literally drinig me nuts as I am typically a mediator between people or testing their URLs and every time I have to remove ton of reduntant stuff and its so easy to fix this but Microsoft likes to get people angry.

    Who [profanity removed] thought this feature is a good idea? Who review and who accept this as a feature?

    Question been raised since 2022 and now is mid of 2023 but still no setting for turning it off. well done MS

    No, and Microsoft can't care less. I'm being so disappointed with Microsoft lately and whoever is the person there responsible for User Experience. This guy should really be fired. If Apple were not so selfish/crappy I would had switched to Apple already...

    This guy Benedik Vojtěch looks like he left Microsoft as this comment he placed here was the only one he ever made.

    Maybe I'll start using Chromebooks now on lol
