Black screen camera on Microsoft Teams desktop app

Today I had a meeting where I needed my camera turned on but it wasn't working. I checked the preview of the camera and it shows only black screen.

I've tried anything I could to resolve the problem ( check for privacy settings, update camera drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the camera device , uninstalled and reinstalled teams, reboot the laptop multiple times ). The camera works on any other app except MT desktop app. It also doesn't let me do the screen share thing.

Any help? I really need it solved so I can be able to take my exams.

Same issue, twice. Macbook Pro 2020 running Windows 10 professional with FaceTime Camera. Both times the issue started after Zoom accessed the camera. Thereafter I was black screen in Teams desktop app (but Zoom, Camera, Teams through browser, etc. all work fine). First time I eventually uninstalled the device and repaired my drivers using the Boot Camp download, which sorted the issue. Second time hasn't worked. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Teams, checked privacy settings, deleted device and reinstalled drivers, cleared appdata, etc. etc.

Seems to be a common issue affecting MBP users through Bootcamp. Wonder if anyone else can replicate the problem by seeing if it kicks in with Zoom?

    A fix would be amazing.

As of today, it suddenly works.  but

I was inspired by the two prior posts of a magical resolution and I didn't make any changes, but the camera was back and had no problems in my meeting this morning.

I'm a little wary, since I see others had it start working and then malfunction again.

I haven't been able to identify a pattern, but I'll keep you posted!

I've had the issue since last December, and recently it doesn't even detect the camera in web version of Teams, the one place where it did work.

Same issue here with MacBook pro and the FaceTime HD camera. Seems to work in other apps.
