Black screen camera on Microsoft Teams desktop app

Today I had a meeting where I needed my camera turned on but it wasn't working. I checked the preview of the camera and it shows only black screen.

I've tried anything I could to resolve the problem ( check for privacy settings, update camera drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the camera device , uninstalled and reinstalled teams, reboot the laptop multiple times ). The camera works on any other app except MT desktop app. It also doesn't let me do the screen share thing.

Any help? I really need it solved so I can be able to take my exams.

    Yes, even though it rotates the image 90 degrees. I'd like it to work on desktop and also be able to sharescreen

    Hello. I followed the steps for clearing all the cache of Team and it still doesn't work

    I am V. Arya, Independent Advisor, to work with you on this issue. As a first level of troubleshooting, please try in Web Teams (Edge/Chrome browsers) and let me know whether it works there or not to advise you on further steps.

    Assuming you are using Teams app on Wndows 10 - Try to clear cache of Teams

    Close Microsoft Teams app

    Press Windows key, hold it and press r

    Paste the following into Run Window

    %appdata%\Microsoft\teams

    Copy everything from this folder to some other place in your computer. Hence, it means that you will have a backup.

    Now delete everything within this folder

    Open Microsoft Teams app and now check
