Today I had a meeting where I needed my camera turned on but it wasn't working. I checked the preview of the camera and it shows only black screen.
I've tried anything I could to resolve the problem ( check for privacy settings, update camera drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the camera device , uninstalled and reinstalled teams, reboot the laptop multiple times ). The camera works on any other app except MT desktop app. It also doesn't let me do the screen share thing.
Any help? I really need it solved so I can be able to take my exams.

Dear Jack,
did you found any solution to this? a profile recreation is something i never see as solution only as last possible workaround without getting to the rootcause.
Thanks, Sven
Hah, I already gave up searching for an answer. I though about rebuilding the user profile but I can't do it by myself, only if I contact the database administrator from my university, which is a bit complicated so I had to find other ways to make it work. I'm using the app on my phone when i need camera.
Anyway, thank you for the information too :)
I ended up opening a service ticket with O365 support. I gave them a detailed breakdown of my troubleshooting steps and I made a stupid mistake..... I told them that I was only experiencing that issue with a specific Windows profile on that machine and they instantly decided to "drop the ball" telling me it "probably" was an OS issue (predictable) and that I needed to rebuild the user profile. Teams installs are user-based....OF COURSE IT'S A PROFILE ISSUE! I wasn't much from Microsoft support given my past experiences, but it's still very dissapointing.
I guess I won't have a choice but to rebuild the user profile.....which might end up taking less time than investigating further, but gives me absolutely no guarantee that I will not encounter this problem again in the future. Thanks for your input!
Good luck Stefania! :)
