I am trying to install and enable Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (WSL2) on Windows 10 Pro version 2009. However, when I run 'wsl --update' in the Command Prompt, it returns:
Installing: Windows Subsystem for Linux
[ 0.0% ],
This hangs forever.
The command wsl -l gives wsl -l
"Windows Subsystem for Linux has no installed distributions.
Distributions can be installed by visiting the Microsoft Store:
Before running wsl --update, I navigated to Turn Windows Features on or off and activated Virtual Machine platform and Windows Subsystem for Linux. This created an empty folder called Linux.

There appears to be an internet issue. How about going to this page:

Then selecting the X64 installer?
