Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

    To narrow down the issue:

    1. Did the mic use to work before, or has it never worked on this device?
    2. Did this issue start after a Windows update or any changes to your system?
    3. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?

If you haven't tried anything yet please start by:

    Check Microphone privacy settings:

    • When you go to Settings (Win +I) > System > Sound > Input, does it show the correct microphone (like "Microphone Array" or something similar) as the default input device?

    Check Microphone privacy settings:

    • Go to Settings (Win + I) > Privacy & security > Microphone and confirm that microphone access is allowed for apps

Test it in Sound Control Panel:

    • Type mmsys.cpl in the Start menu to open the old Sound panel.
    • Go to the Recording tab, right-click your mic, and choose 'Properties'.
    • Check the Levels tab to make sure it's not muted and adjust the volume if needed.

If the issue persists, please provide more details by answering my questions.

Click "Comment" below to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
