This is a feature that many users want, but unfortunately, it is currently not possible in Windows 11. I heard that Microsoft is considering adding this feature, but there is currently no way to adjust the height of the taskbar in Windows 11.

That seems like a step backwards.

hi, all i have been working with Microsoft, on the taskbar issue, and i agree this should be put back into Windows 11, the issue that i have been facing is , When i use the NIVIDIA CONTROL PANNEL, when i want to Extend my desktop screen to the maximum size, As i have x3 22 inch monitors, so when i put this up for people to read, i will be again trying to get Microsoft to sort this out, AS I WAS ON THE WINDOWS INSIDER PROGRAM, i did not have this issue when i had windows 10 pro installed. Anyway i am on windows 11 pro at the moment, and i have installed windows 10 pro onto Another separate drive in my system, and all works fine . I do like to run a multiboot system with separate drives.

I have had my taskbar on the right side of my screen for YEARS. I work remotely from home, and this affects my productivity. I will not be upgrading until you fix this feature, and I couldn't have said it any better than Default_207. Whose bright idea was it to remove functionality!?!?

I probably wouldn't have used the same words, but I'm feel'n you 100%!

It's all about marketing to the largest audience, which, at least in America these days, includes a healthy dose of some pretty stupid and techno-phobic people. Yep, Win 11 is more Apple-like and if you recall the "old days," Apple's main push was a skinny manual vs. IBM's tall stack. Hide the technology and make an interface even your dog can understand. Lock the taskbar? Geez, even my dog wants to chew off your arm! :2_
