    Why is it not possible? BECAUSE MICROSOFT TOOK THE FUNCTIONALLITY AWAY!

    I agree. Whoever came up with the bright idea to permanently lock the taskbar and *REMOVE* this well used functionality should be FIRED.

    Not only is the taskbar locked for me - but it is locked in a BROKEN STATE. Yes - its the infamous 'empty taskbar' bug.

    Moving back to ver. 10. Can't put taskbar back on top is a deal breaker for me.

    That doesn't seem like a step backwards, it IS a step backwards, in fact ALL the changes that have been made to the Windows 11 taskbar are a step backwards.

    A very useful feature has been removed for reasons unclear.

    Please revert your decision and allow us to unlock the taskbar!

    A lot of features removed on Windows 10 Start Menu and Task Bar, i think a lot of users still love the old one
