Agree that Windows 11 has made working difficult-- especially for those of us who rely on images for identifying folders and items quickly!

After updating to windows 11, the option to customize "Choose a file to show on this folder icon" does not change the folder's display image even after applying, I have tried the solutions displayed here " https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/all/folder-icon-thumbnails-broken-windows-11-pro/0e60c9ee-e5f0-4e6d-80c9-42cf2f89752e " but it did not solve the issue, I also do not have the option to revert to windows 10 where this problem never occurred

2024-07-09T17:04:51+00:00 I totally agree...obviously MS doesn't want to fix this as this has been an issue for well over year. They don't care about their customers. They know they have are a monopoly and most of us will suffer with MS over Apple.

2024-03-07T19:09:08+00:00 I agree. Give me back W7, so easy to use. Microsoft could always offer us the CHOICE to allow changes before interfering. DUH! In my opinion they are protecting their jobs by introducing problems which which they they solve with unworkable tech rubbish, thus ensuring that we need them.
