Well this is a disturbing turn of events. I hated Windows 10 and got a new Laptop with Windows 11 and thought navigation seemed easier, until ALL OF THE THUMBNAIL/PREVIEWS ON MY FOLDERS ARE GONE!!!!
I have tried every troubleshooting thing I can find and nothing works, reset folder settings, unchecked the box to show folder not icon, you name it. It will not allow me to choose an image to display on folder, even though the option is there. I have literally hundreds of folder of not just photos, but digital scrapbooking kits, which are now next to IMPOSSIBLE to navigate unless I want to click on each folder so I can see what kit or group of photos is in what folder. Information of this magnitude is next to impossible to commit to memory, so I'm pretty much screwed! I am smart enough to create and assign custom icons for the generic folders on my desktop, so why is this so difficult? PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM MICROSOFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
