2021-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008215) FAILS to install.

I cannot even install this update and it fails to install every time I attempt downloading this update. I get this error message every time I try to update, "Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712).

I have tried everything to resolve it and nothing has worked. I have run SFC, DISM, DSCK, tried to repair my system files, run the windows update trouble shooter and the problem continues to persist.

    I can install it but it hangs on reboot. Anyone having that problem and if so were you able to fix it and what is the fix?

    Hi Hector. When I try your suggestion I get an error 404. In addition, what's odd is when I restored my computer I installed iTunes and again my computer hangs when it reboots. I will reboot now, but it seems that when I install anything after the last two M/S updates it will not boot up. What could be going on

    Hy Bryant, following all the steps in the tutorial before restarting, I have managed to prevent it from crashing and it restarts quickly. I couldn't tell you what else could be going on
