2021-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008215) FAILS to install.

I cannot even install this update and it fails to install every time I attempt downloading this update. I get this error message every time I try to update, "Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712).

I have tried everything to resolve it and nothing has worked. I have run SFC, DISM, DSCK, tried to repair my system files, run the windows update trouble shooter and the problem continues to persist.

    Go to the Microsoft Update Catalog website for the KB5008215 update.

    Click the Download button for 2021-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008215).

    Copy the link (windows10.0-kb5008215-x64_8b19785f2a319bd716c6cee9fbf345cf19f6941b.msu) and download it using Google Chrome. (When using IE it fails to download).

    Open and run the downloaded file, reboot when prompted.

    I wound up having to do a clean install of win 11. Trying to upgrade from 10 didn't play nice. Best way I can describe it was a Win 10/11 mutant hybrid Os. Depending on what I used to check it would say 10 in one place and 11 in others. Narrow an issue since clean install.

    No. I tried yesterday and it's the same thing. I think I'd just leave the insider program or maybe if there's an ISO???

    Yeah about that, I had the same issue i did everything that i could but no effects. Then i reset my pc and it worked and i think thats the only way you can fix this tho it worked for me i can't say it will work for everyone but it worked so think before you reset.
