I am unable to set-up a new PIN as it asks for a security code to be sent on a number I no longer have. I just updated my number on microsoft accounts and it says will take 30 days before it takes effect. Now I can't even log into my laptop. No option for password login or to change to a local account. Someone HELP!!!

What a stupid stuff from the Microsoft????
On my Lock Screen it shows two profiles, both have the same message about pin is no longer available due to security settings changing on this device. Then it says click to setup your pin again. When I click the “set up my pin” button on both accounts, I get a pop up telling me I need to install an app for this task and asks if I would like to search for one in the Store? I click yes and it just brings me back to Lock Screen again. It’s just a loop. No other options, no start menu access. Please advise?
I have the same issue after a bios update. No internet access and Microsoft have not sent out the verify code to input. I've borrowed a laptop to get online and checked my online email and no email from Microsoft. This is a new pc with new bios and will have regular updates. I cannot afford this type of hassle. Microsofts answer when speaking to TECH, CLEAN INSTALL.
It's taken me six weeks to install software to this point, I don't have the time to waste to start again. It's all this TPM rubbish.
The only answer if I get ack in is to have no pin and or no password! Not impressed and reinstall appears to be the only answer Microsoft have to any issue.
