How did I get blocked from commenting on MSN and how do I get unblocked?

I've been banned since 19th July - my name also does not "meet guidelines"; VERY weird as it happens to be my REAL name, what I use on FaceBook etc. I even had a reply from a volunteer Moderator from Microsoft telling me there was nothing wrong with my real name...... I've now put in over 30 review requests just for the hell of it - same reply of course, "you will be reinstated shortly". I suppose it's "how long is a piece of string"!

I've mentioned elsewhere here - I've been waiting from 20th July to have the decision reversed. It certainly is VERY weird. My ban is for using my REAL name - which was fine before!!

As I replied to another contributor here, I would just love a simple explanation as to how my real name does not "meet guidelines". Would understand I guess if I made up a user name which may be a bit "risqué" , or had made a very nasty comment. Ah well "ours is not to reason why"!!!

You are indeed correct in saying this IS the only place we have to air our views and frustrations regarding what seems at times just puerile and petty "rules" regarding what people can and cannot post - or, as in my case, I'm barred from posting with my REAL name, which was no problem up until 19th July!!!

I have noticed that all the articles about Putin, Russia, Ukraine all closed - and that is even new ones every day.

As I said in another message on here, why bother setting up a facility for the public to comment if it is only what MSN allows us to comment on?!

@ Pat - I've been waiting almost 6 weeks. I put in a request every day now - to date over 30 have been made. Don't hold your breath!
